"We first used Leighton to stay at our house for a week whilst we were away in China. It was the first time I had used a sitter at our house but our elderly spaniel is quite anxious and has a fair few medication needs. Leighton was amazing. From the first meet up, Leighton was keen to get to know the dog and our needs. During the week, he looked after our dog so well and gave him so much attention and walks that I genuinely think the dog was disappointed to see us return home!
Leighton has such a gentle and calm nature around animals and the dog just fell in love with him and didn't miss us at all which definitely eased my guilt. He was also brilliant to have around the house. He left it spotless and even put up with a broken boiler being fixed by plumbers on the first day of his stay. I can not recommend him enough for any dogs but especially if you have dogs who can be anxious or have medical/individual needs. Leighton was not phased by all the tablets he had to give our dog, or the minor embarrassments that come up in older dogs (weeing indoors!)
He took it all in his stride and really did take such great care of him. He worked around our flight times and kept in touch throughout the stay, sending photos. I now use him ever time we go away. He really is superb at what he does.
